matt, i sent out comment forms about a month ago to all current members, asking them for their comments/suggestions etc about the club.

sorry about that matt, basically the form was asking what you thought of the club and what you think could be better and if you had any sugestions!
i cant believe that im the only one whos sent the form back in when everyone was saying that wanted to have their say! even if your happy with
everything the club is doing please send it back in, you may have a great idea that no one has thought of!

ive not renewed for reasons like my cars not ready and other stuffs been priority. ive stayed out of ALL the comments on this and other threads and i
have my own reasons for this , im not gonna agree with anyone.
i will renew next year if it suits my needs,im getting tired of everyone whining and poo stirring so have stayed away for these reasons.
my only comment towards the club ,and this is my personal view,is that the branches should be allowed to do whatever thay like with regard to our
merchandise.i know there is club stuff but if we can get local companies to help keep cost down and get money back into the regions pot then why not?
the money we would make would go back into regional flags and banners etc.
tbh this is it from me,the mags are ok,its ours and we all reap what we sow so im not gonna slate them but for those who do use the forum we could
offer it electronically.this would save time and money.the new member fee is spot on and the website works.dont make it exclusive and it puts people
off.
the biggest reason for all clubs being quite is due to there being to many clubs and some tend to stay local which is a good reason but id rather see
50 clubs full of cars than 500 clubs with 10 cars.

If every one does what they want with individual branch merchandise then Im sure that the "varieties" of colours and logos would soon loose the
thread of what is the FORDSPORT logo.....
There needs be be a theme to aid recognition...t shirts, banners flags etc all need to look the same.
Either HQ has to dictate specifics, colours size font location, to be religiously adhered to or HQ supplies the merchandise.....

Chris, we don't have a problem with branches getting some merchandise done themselves, but as marvin says the logos used need to be kept in line with
the ones we use at HQ.

they would do,i was informed that when someone tried this before they was shot down.ive no issues with the price and quality etc with our stuff but
would like regional stuff aswell,wouldnt harm to try so ill see what happens
any thoughts on the electronic mag?
put some bloody pics up off this v8 as well

I normally receive a membership renewal and haven't to date this year. I sent you a u2u in April that you replied to.
A membership renewal would be gratefully received!! I do like do pay a contribution each year! There isn't as many original members left to date.

Chris, i'm not sure who was or what the reasons were for anyone being 'shot down' about having regional stuff done, we have been trying to get new
club stuff done at HQ, as the original company whacked up their prices, we did ask if anyone knew of anywhere else, as the way most places do it is
the more you order the better price you get and we try to get the best price we can for the members.
The merchandise purchased from HQ brings in a little bit of money to help with the running of the club, club banners, gazebo etc.
HQ will alway do our best if regions want banners etc.
Also if the regions have things done themselves their is no way of us (at HQ) of knowing where money is changing hands if there should be a
problem.
I am in the process of doing a letter of the plans and outcomes from the discussions we've had with members about what they want and expect from the
club, so please look out for this in the post within the next week.
